Eliana Pinto

Assistant Principal at The National Autistic Society

Eliana Pinto has extensive experience in special education, particularly in autism support. Currently serving as Assistant Principal, Lead Autism Teacher, and Special Education Teacher at The National Autistic Society since 2018, Eliana has worked with children from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 1. Prior experience includes a role as SEN Teacher for autism at The Livity School in Streatham from 2014 to 2018, where responsibilities encompassed planning study programs, managing challenging behavior, and leading assessment meetings. Eliana's background also includes eight years as a Secondary Teacher with the Portuguese Ministry of Education, teaching subjects such as Philosophy and Psychology. Educational qualifications consist of a PG Diploma in Autism from the University of Birmingham and two master's degrees in Ethics and Political Philosophy and Education from Universidade do Porto.
