Diana Corman is a statistician at The National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) since September 2018, with extensive academic and research experience. As a lecturer and PhD at Karolinska Institutet since 2009, Diana teaches demographic methods and social determinants of health to master's and first-year medical students. Prior roles include researcher and health care analyst at the Centre for Epidemiology and Community Medicine from 2009 to 2018 and a consultant and project leader at RCC Regionalt Cancercentrum Stockholm Gotland in 2016. Earlier experience includes being a research analyst at Civilekonomerna and a researcher at the Institute for Future Studies, Stockholm. Education includes a PhD in Demography and a Master's in Social Science from Stockholm University, a Bachelor's in Business Administration from The West University of Timisoara, and a Baccalaureate in Mathematics and Physics from Romanian institutions.
