Emerald Skye Byrd

Emerald Skye Byrd has a diverse work experience in various roles, starting as a Koasati Translator at Coushatta Heritage Center from 2008 to 2014. Emerald Skye then transitioned to work in digital media at Coushatta Heritage Department from 2008 to 2018, managing creative projects and digital platforms. From 2016 to 2021, they gained marketing and advertising experience at Coushatta Casino Resort, including roles as a Marketing and Advertising Intern and Marketing Manager. Recently, they moved to The National Center For American Indian Enterprise Development, holding positions in Public Relations, Director of Communications, and currently as Business Development Director.

Emerald Skye Byrd holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media from Louisiana State University, obtained from 2010 to 2014, and a Master's degree in Advertising from the Savannah College of Art and Design, obtained from 2015 to 2017. Emerald Skye also completed the Tribal Leaders Program at Harvard Business School in 2023.
