Bladder And Penile Cancer Patient Advocate at The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN)

Rick Bangs is a seasoned professional in cancer advocacy and healthcare research, currently serving as a Bladder and Penile Cancer Patient Advocate at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) since March 2016, and as the host of the Bladder Cancer Matters Podcast since January 2021. Contributions to the SWOG Cancer Research Network from April 2012 to February 2025 include key roles such as Project Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion metrics and Chair of the Patient Advocate Committee. Rick's work with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) includes co-chairing committees focused on improving cancer care delivery and patient enrollment in clinical trials.
