Kim Hagen currently serves as the Research and Insight Analyst, Peer Support Manager, and Family Courses Development Manager at the National Deaf Children's Society since February 2017, focusing on the development of online courses and the management of staff involved in these initiatives. Previous roles include Assistant Editor at Disaster Prevention and Management: An International Journal, Senior Energy Campaigner at the Campaign to Protect Rural England, and various research and consultancy positions in projects related to disaster management and social environmental research. Kim holds a PhD in Community Resilience and Disaster Risk Management from The Open University and advanced degrees in Environment and Resource Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, as well as Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies from Radboud University.
