Michael Nelson has extensive experience in the food service industry, holding various managerial roles over more than two decades. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Operations Manager at The National Food Lab, Inc. since July 2015, Michael previously worked as General Manager-Consultant at French Meadow Bakery & Cafe and as Assistant General Manager at 6Smith. Additionally, Michael has held General Manager positions at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar and Doolittles Woodfire Grill, along with several assistant managerial roles at restaurants such as Crosby's Kitchen and Cafe Ba Ba Reeba. Early career experience includes bartending and bar management at establishments like Lord Fletchers and Chevy's. Michael graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1995.
