Carina Bracer

Director, Conservation Finance and Natural Climate Solutions at National Forest Foundation

Carina Bracer has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Most recently, in 2022, they joined the National Forest Foundation as the Director of Conservation Finance and Natural Climate Solutions. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, Carina worked at Verra, first as a Market Development Manager, where they analyzed opportunities in carbon markets, sustainable development, plastic waste recovery, and supply chains. Carina's work experience also includes a short-term role as a Contractor for The Nature Conservancy's Climate, Community, and Biodiversity Alliance in 2004, where they provided recommendations for carbon project certification standards. Carina started their career as an International Ethnobotanical Supply Logistics Manager at Shaman Pharmaceuticals from 1998 to 2000 and as an Executive Assistant at Rainforest Action Network from 1997 to 1998.
