Shivani Ramroop

Shivani Ramroop has extensive experience in legal and commercial services within the energy sector, holding the position of Manager, Legal Commercial Services at The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited since January 2015. In this role, responsibilities include negotiating Gas Sales Contracts and engaging in cross-border negotiations with Venezuela. Shivani has participated in arbitration proceedings and facilitates educational sessions on upstream contracts. Previous experience includes serving as Legal Officer II and Energy Associate Professional at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs, where responsibilities included preparing contracts and licenses for competitive bid rounds and drafting legislative amendments. Shivani holds a Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.
