J. Tomas Fernandez is an experienced purchasing manager with a strong background in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Purchasing Manager at The National Hotel Miami Beach since February 2019, J. Tomas has previously held similar positions at Trump International Beach Resort, Deauville Beach Resort, Holiday Foods, and Casino Pompano Beach. J. Tomas has also served as the Director of Purchasing at both Peninsula Chicago Hotel and Acqualina Resort and Spa, where responsibilities included managing purchasing departments and ensuring optimal service standards. The career began as a Purchasing Manager at Mandarin Oriental Miami, focusing on materials, equipment, and food and beverage procurement. J. Tomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Languages from Havana University, completed between 1977 and 1982.
