Myriam Souprayen

Myriam Souprayen has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the construction and planning sectors. Myriam currently serves as the Vice President of Construction at The National Hotel Miami Beach since January 2023. Previously, they worked as the DGS (Director General of Services) at Commune de Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni from October 2019 to February 2023. Before that, they held the position of Deputy General Manager (DGA) at Commune Saint-Laurent du Maroni from November 2018 to October 2019. Myriam also gained experience as an Engineer in Chief Apprentice at Institut National des Etudes Territoriales (INET) from October 2017 to October 2018. Myriam Souprayen has also worked as the Director of Zoning, Building, and Planning Department at Commune de Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni from July 2014 to October 2017. Additionally, they served as Vice President of Construction at The National Hotel Miami Beach from March 2009 to March 2013. Myriam has consulting experience as a Consultant at the French Institute Miami from December 2008 to May 2011. Previously, they worked as the Director of the Planning Department at Commune de Saint Laurent du Maroni from February 2005 to December 2007. Myriam started their career in the role of Director of Projects, Planning, and Public works at Montgenèvre from November 2001 to January 2005.

Myriam Souprayen pursued a Masters of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Land Use Planning and Management/Development from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers from 1998 to 2001. In 2008, they completed a Bachelors of Social Science in Education with a focus on Adults Education - Pedagogy from the Université de Rouen. In 2017 and 2018, they attended the Institut National des Etudes Territoriales (INET) to obtain the title of Ingenieur en chef, although the specific field of study is not provided.
