Sheena Britschgi

Sheena Britschgi has a diverse work experience history. Sheena started their career as a Floral Assistant at Posh Shoppe Florist in 2002 and worked their way up to doing design work. Sheena then joined Trader Joe's in 2006 as a Crew Member, where they gained knowledge of different departments, worked as a cashier, and ordered products for the store. Sheena also participated in the management training program and worked as a cook in the demo station.

In 2008, Sheena joined two different organizations. At Disability Resources, they worked as a Community Trainer from 2008 to 2010, providing training for the community. At Friends of Nevada Wilderness, they served as a Stewardship Administrator from 2008 to 2012, where they wrote and managed federal grants, coordinated volunteers for remote trips in Nevada, and participated in political activism and advocacy for wilderness preservation.

Sheena worked at Note-Able Music Therapy Services from 2008 to 2015. Sheena started as an Administrative Assistant and was later promoted to Executive Assistant/Volunteer Coordinator in 2012. Sheena'sresponsibilities included event and volunteer coordination, composing newsletters, cultivating donors, managing office operations, website designing and management, IT technical support, grant writing, designing promotional materials, and managing social media platforms.

Following their tenure at Note-Able Music Therapy Services, Sheena worked at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada as a Development Manager from May 2015 to August 2015, and at Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada as a Fund Development Manager from August 2015 to February 2016.

In 2016, Sheena began working as the Technology & Campaigns Manager at The National Judicial College, where they currently hold the position.

Additionally, Sheena is currently a Graduate Student at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, starting from January 2022.

Overall, Sheena Britschgi has had extensive experience in various roles, including managerial positions, grant writing, volunteer coordination, event planning, and digital marketing.

Sheena Britschgi's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. Sheena obtained a Master's degree in Urban Leadership & Development from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed multiple Bachelor's degrees in fields such as Political Science, Environmental Science, International Affairs, English, and Natural Resource Management at the University of Nevada. Sheena also earned an Associate in Arts degree in Social Science & Liberal Arts from American River College. Sheena'seducation journey began with the completion of their high school diploma in General studies with a few AP courses at Douglas High School.

In addition to their degrees, Sheena holds several certifications. Sheena attained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Google in September 2021. Sheena has also obtained certifications in CPR & First Aid from the American Heart Association in April 2019, and Wilderness First Responder from NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) in November 2010.
