Sheridan Williams

Sheridan Williams has extensive experience in both education and astronomy. Currently serving as an educational tour guide at The National Museum of Computing since 2007, Sheridan has engaged audiences with historical computing machines while also holding the position of Secretary of the Astronomy Club at The Open University since January 2008, where tours of the George Abell Observatory are conducted and astronomy talks are given. An accomplished author at BRADT TRAVEL GUIDES LTD. since 2000, Sheridan has produced travel guides focused on astronomical events. As a tour leader, Sheridan has led numerous astronomy-related tours, including those to view aurorae and eclipses. Additionally, Sheridan has contributed as the Handbook editor for the British Astronomical Association and provided astronomical data for Whitaker's Almanack through Bloomsbury Publishing Plc from 2015 to 2020. Sheridan's prior roles in education include managing director at BEEBUG Limited and lecturer positions in various colleges. Educational background includes attendance at Bishop Challoner School.
