Laksana Tri Handoko

Laksana Tri Handoko is a prominent figure in the field of theoretical physics and computational science, currently serving as the Chairman of The National Research and Innovation Agency of The Republic of Indonesia since April 2021. Prior to this role, Laksana Tri Handoko held multiple key positions at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) from January 2002 to April 2021, including Deputy Chairman for Engineering Sciences and Director of the Research Center for Informatics. Laksana Tri Handoko has extensive experience in academia, having lectured at the University of Indonesia and IPB University, and has conducted significant research as a fellow at institutions such as Yonsei University, DESY, and the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP). Laksana Tri Handoko holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Hiroshima University, along with a Master's degree from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree from Kumamoto University and Institut Teknologi Bandung.
