Wahyudi Hasbi

Wahyudi Hasbi has extensive experience in satellite technology and research, currently serving as the Head of the Research Center for Satellite Technology at The National Research and Innovation Agency of The Republic of Indonesia since June 2000. In addition to this role, Wahyudi is the Acting Head of the Satellite Technology Center, managing satellite R&D under BRIN. Other significant positions include Membership in the National Higher Education Council, Chairman of Directors Region-3 Asia Pacific for the International Amateur Radio Union, and Chairman of the Indonesian Satellite Society. Wahyudi also holds leadership roles in IEEE as Advisory Board Chair and Chairman of the Indonesia Section. Previous experience encompasses various engineering and management roles at the Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space, contributing to projects like the LAPAN-A2 and LAPAN-A3 satellites. Wahyudi's educational background includes a Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and a Master's degree in Computer Science from IPB University.
