Derek Gunn

Derek Gunn is an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse background in HR roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Human Resources Information System Analyst at the National Trust for Scotland since February 2017, Derek Gunn oversees the integrity and development of the HRIS system while coordinating with multiple departments. Previous positions include HR Executive at Shepherd and Wedderburn, HR Assistant at the Forestry Commission, and HR/Compliance Manager at AlliedBarton Security Services, where responsibilities spanned recruitment, compliance, and HR project management. Earlier experience as an outdoor instructor at YMCA Camp Willson and Bradford Woods involved curriculum development and facilitation of educational programs. Derek Gunn holds a B.A. in History from Truman College in Chicago.
