Martin Hughes

Martin Hughes is an experienced operations manager currently overseeing Inverewe Garden and Estate and Corrieshalloch Gorge at the National Trust for Scotland since June 2017. Prior to this role, Martin served as the Regional Retail Development Manager at Asda from May 2012 to June 2017 and held various positions at Santander Consumer (UK) plc, culminating in the role of Bank Manager from June 2004 to April 2012. Additional experience includes store management at PC World and Majestic Wine in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Geography from the University of Glasgow, which was completed between 1991 and 1994.
