Valerie Whistler

Valerie Whistler is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, fundraising, and project development. Currently serving as a Volunteer and Supporter Assistant at the National Trust for Scotland since March 2022, Valerie previously worked as a Fundraising Project Development Officer at the Findhorn Foundation from April 2021 to January 2023. Valerie's early career includes roles at Wiltshire Air Ambulance as Partnerships Coordinator and various teaching positions at Haydon Wick Primary School and Nelmes Primary School, where music coordination was also a responsibility. Prior to teaching, Valerie gained experience in casting as a Freelance Casting Assistant and Casting Assistant at Jackie Burch Casting, along with serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Westland School. Valerie holds a Bachelor's Honors Degree and PGCE in Music and Education from Goldsmiths, University of London, completed in 1988.
