Catherine Barnes

Catherine Barnes is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in marketing, media relations, and public relations. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Cause Marketing & Brand Partnerships at The Nature Conservancy since January 2016, Catherine previously held roles such as Manager of Corporate Marketing Partnerships and Senior Media Relations Specialist at the Association of American Medical Colleges. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Account Manager at Live Wire Media Relations, LLC, and various roles at George Mason University, where responsibilities spanned from Media and Public Relations Manager to Coordinator. Catherine also worked in public relations at Ron Sachs Communications and served as a Communications Consultant at Shirley and Banister Public Affairs. Academically, Catherine holds a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing and Management Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, both from Florida State University.
