Frank Rijsberman is an accomplished leader in sustainable development and water resource management, currently serving as Global Head of Policy and Public Funding at The Nature Conservancy since November 2024. Previously, Rijsberman held the position of Director General at the Global Green Growth Institute, where efforts focused on promoting green growth in various countries from October 2016 to October 2024. Notable prior roles include CEO of CGIAR Consortium, Director of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Director Program at Google.org, and Director General at the International Water Management Institute. Rijsberman co-founded Resource Analysis, a consultancy in global development and resource management, and began their career as a Project Engineer at WL | Delft Hydraulics. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Water Resources Planning and Management from Colorado State University and an MSc in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
