Paulina Tamayo

Paulina Tamayo is an experienced professional in impact investments and carbon finance, currently serving as an Associate at The Nature Conservancy's NatureVest since February 2023, contributing to the deployment of over US$2.5 billion in sustainable investments. Additionally, as a Board Advisor at Molienda Real- Alimentos Orgánicos since December 2019, Paulina has led financial analysis and weekly performance evaluations. Academic involvement includes a role as Teaching Assistant at Columbia University, supporting courses on sustainable investments, alongside an MS in Sustainability Management earned in 2022. Previously, Paulina held various positions, including a Responsible Investing Intern at Trinity Church Wall Street and an Intrapreneurship Leader at Ecosistema Jaguar, focusing on social impact projects for small farmers. An entrepreneurial background includes founding WISU, restructuring a food company, and serving as a Financial and Legal Advisor at Celerix S.A.S. with expertise in diverse sectors. Paulina's educational credentials are complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Laws from Universidad EAFIT.
