Captain Andre LeGoubin MNM MA FNI has over 40 years of experience in the maritime industry. Captain Andre is currently the President of The Nautical Institute, where they previously served as the Senior Vice President and Vice President. Captain Andre has been an Associate Member, Member, and Fellow of the institute since 1984.

Previously, Captain LeGoubin worked as a Mooring Master at AET and an Associate Director - Marine at London Offshore Consultants. Captain Andre also served as a Pilot at the Port of London Authority and a Master Mariner at Hoverspeed. Captain Andre'scareer began as a Deck Officer at Cunard Shipping Services Ltd.

In addition to their professional roles, Captain LeGoubin is an Independent Marine Consultant at DNA Marine USA LLC. Captain Andre provides expert witness services and consultancy in various maritime matters, including STS incidents, ship handling, pilotage, towage, and personal injury claims. Captain Andre has experience giving live testimony in the US Federal Court at both Judge and Jury trials.

From 2006 to 2009, Captain Andre LeGoubin MNM MA FNI pursued a Master of Arts degree in Marine Accident Investigation at Middlesex University.
