Aakash Thakkar

Aakash Thakkar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Aakash currently works at EYA, LLC as the Chief Acquisitions Officer. Prior to this role, they held the position of Executive Vice President, Acquisition and Development at the same company. Before joining EYA, LLC in 2004, Aakash worked as the Senior Vice President of Development. In 2002, they worked as a Senior Development Manager at the National Capital Revitalization Corporation (NCRC), where they played a key role in the redevelopment of the Skyland shopping center. Prior to that, they served as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2000 to 2002. Aakash's earlier experience includes a position as a FLDP at Johnson & Johnson from 1997 to 1999.

Aakash Thakkar started their education journey in 1992 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Business, with a focus on Accounting/Finance and Political Science, from La Salle University in 1996. Aakash then pursued a Master's degree in City and Regional Studies, with a specialization in Urban Development, from Rutgers University from 1998 to 2000. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University, with a concentration in Finance and Management.
