Lars Schlichting

Lars Schlichting has extensive work experience in the legal and blockchain industries. Lars is currently a Partner at Lexify and a Founding Board Member at Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association. Previously, Lars served as the General Counsel at The Nemesis and the CEO at LegalLAB. Lars also held positions such as Co-Head of the Southern Alps Chapter at Crypto Valley Association and Member of the Advisory Board at Swiss LegalTech Association. Lars has been a Partner at Kellerhals Carrard, where they managed a group of lawyers specializing in LegalTech and assisted financial companies with regulation, taxation, and blockchain technology. Lars has also worked as a Manager at Pepper and a Board Member at ORS GROUP. Additionally, Lars co-founded BitIncubator & Venture SA, where they served as a Co-Founder and board member.

Lars Schlichting obtained a Master's degree in Law from the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, which they completed between 1991 and 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in International Finance Law at the University of Zurich from 2004 to 2006. In 2019 and 2020, Lars Schlichting furthered their education by completing a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) program in GDPR and Data Protection Officer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland.
