Derrick Edwards

Derrick Edwards is a seasoned professional in education and real estate with a strong commitment to community development. Currently serving as a Ready to Read/Hopezone Coach at Preschool Promise, Inc. since August 2023, Derrick supports educators in enhancing instructional practices through data-driven insights. As CEO of Edwards Zenith Group LLC since May 2020, Derrick focuses on real estate investment to foster healthy communities. Additionally, Derrick leads Derrick's Property Management LLC, which offers comprehensive property management services. Previously, as Executive Director of Nurturing Dreams and Visions Inc. from 2017 to 2022, Derrick empowered youth in a group home setting. Derrick's extensive experience includes roles in early childhood education, such as lead Head Start teacher at Miami Valley Child Development Centers, along with various positions in child care management. Derrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Central State University.
