Mirjam de Klerk

Mirjam De Klerk is a Senior Onderzoeker at the Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau since March 1997, with extensive research experience in the fields of care and support, focusing on the social domain in upcoming years. Previously, as Programmaleider Zorg en ondersteuning at SCP, Mirjam led a team of experienced researchers conducting studies on various aspects of care, including informal caregiving and issues in elderly care. Prior roles include Senior Onderzoeker, where Mirjam oversaw national evaluations of significant legislative reforms in social support and long-term care. Mirjam's earlier experience includes work at Erasmus Universiteit's iBMG on projects promoting independent living for the elderly and evaluation of home care systems at Universiteit Maastricht. Mirjam holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Leiden University.
