Mirjan van Leijenhorst

Mirjan van Leijenhorst is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations in the Netherlands. Currently serving as a Strategic Communications Advisor at The Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP) since April 2022, Mirjan has previously held prominent positions, including Senior Communications Advisor for Climate Adaptation, Water, and Soil as well as for Aviation at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management from January 2019 to April 2022. Mirjan's earlier career includes serving as Head of Communications and Communications Advisor at the Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR) from September 2005 to January 2020 and various roles in communications and management across organizations such as the Ministry of General Affairs, Transavia, and Travel Contacts Overseas Jakarta. Mirjan holds a degree from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and has further pursued education at De Baak.
