Ben Blum

Ben Blum has a diverse work experience spanning over 29 years. Ben served as the Director of Information Technology at The New Jewish Home, where they led a team of 14 professionals and managed a budget of over $6 million. Ben also devised the organization's cybersecurity strategy and reported to the Board's Audit and Compliance committee. Prior to that, Ben was the Assistant Director of Information Technology at the same organization, where they managed day-to-day operations and successfully reduced costs through vendor management. Ben also has experience as an IT Project Manager, supporting various software implementations and hardware projects. Before their tenure at The New Jewish Home, Ben worked as a Technical Support Engineer at VMware, where they coordinated support meetings and collaborated with the Product Design team. Ben also held positions at Digital Fuel, informUp, Jewish Home Lifecare, LINTECH LLC, Netlims LLC, IFN, Softov, and served as a Lieutenant in the Signal Corps of the Israel Defense Forces.

Ben Blum earned a BA in Management and Psychology from Tel Aviv University between 1996 and 1999. Ben then pursued an MBA at Rutgers University - Newark from 2004 to 2007. Prior to their higher education, Ben attended Tichon Hadera from 1987 to 1991, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during that period.
