Takarra Johnson

Takarra Johnson is an experienced project manager and educator with a strong background in the arts and education sectors. At West2West Movement, Takarra has successfully managed various educational programs since December 2017, including a web series and study abroad initiatives. As a co-founder and web designer for Kari Jay Entertainment, Takarra leads web development efforts for multiple platforms. Freelance production assistance has been provided for events such as Music in the Park and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Takarra's prior roles include teaching English and serving as a poet mentor educator, with additional experience in managing parenting classes and high school outreach programs. Takarra holds a degree from the University of California, Davis.
