Heather Souvaine Horn

Heather Souvaine Horn serves as the Deputy Editor at The New Republic since March 2018, currently focusing on climate issues as the Climate Editor since November 2019. Prior roles included Global Affairs Editor at The New Republic and various freelance writing positions since 2011. Horn was the Middle East and Africa Editor at GlobalPost for a brief period in 2014 and held several editorial roles at The Atlantic from 2009 to 2013, including Senior Associate Editor and Features Editor for The Atlantic Wire. Additionally, Horn contributed as a Research Assistant at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace from 2008 to 2009.
