Sam Russek

Sam Russek is a reporter-researcher at The New Republic, with previous experience working as an editorial intern at The Nation, Dissent Magazine, Texas Monthly, and The Austin Chronicle. They also have experience as a reporting intern at Williamson County Sun, a research assistant at Southwestern University, a grant writing intern at Georgetown Art Center, and a literary awards intern at PEN America. Sam holds a Master's degree in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature with a minor in Spanish from Southwestern University.
