Carrie Bobo is an accomplished architect and educator with extensive experience in the field of architecture and design. Currently serving as the Owner, Architect, and Designer at Office for Art and Architecture since January 2021, Bobo leads an international design and research studio. In academic roles, Bobo has contributed as a Professor of Practice at NJIT Hillier College of Architecture and Design, developing courses focused on climate-responsive design and sustainable housing solutions, and as a Part-Time Faculty member at Parsons School of Design, enhancing the curriculum with environmental condition analysis. Previous roles include architectural positions at Sunnerö, Selldorf Architects, A+I Design, Walsh and Purdy Architects, and Eight Inc., where Bobo managed projects and teams while working on large-scale urban design efforts and contemporary architecture. Bobo holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking from the New York Academy of Art and a Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University.
