Damian Ashton is an experienced Design and Marketing Strategy Consultant at Culture Incite, providing expertise to over 40 clients across nonprofit, for-profit, and social impact sectors since January 2011. With more than 15 years in qualitative research employing diverse methodologies, Damian also serves as an Educator in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons School of Design, where a curricula emphasizing strategic design, research, and innovation was developed. As a Commissioner for the NYC Mayor's Office on Gender Equity, responsibilities include promoting inclusivity and safety related to gender and sexual orientation. Previously, as the Director of Communications & Campaigns at Equimundo, significant rebranding efforts were executed alongside managing a substantial departmental budget. In addition, Damian co-founded Dub-Stuy Records, acting as Marketing Director to shape the label's branding and identity, and began a career in marketing with Wax Poetics, Inc. Credentials include an MFA in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts and a BA in Political Economy and Ethnography from Hampshire College.
