Maurits Montañez

Maurits Montañez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic design, education, and literacy development. Currently serving as a member of the Association of Professional Futurists since June 2024, Maurits has held the position of Associate Director of the Strategic Design and Management Program and faculty professor at Parsons School of Design since August 2018. Additionally, Maurits is the founder and CEO of Manuvo, an award-winning Ed-Tech company established in 2010, focused on enhancing children's literacy and cultural access in Latin America. With past roles including Futures Thinking Trainer at Blenheim Chalcot and faculty professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Maurits holds advanced degrees in strategic design and management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
