Shoham Arad

Adjunct Professor - Senior Studios, School Of Constructed Environments at The New School

Shoham Arad is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in design, education, and leadership within the arts community. Currently serving as the Director of TED Fellows at TED Conferences since February 2013, Shoham also holds the position of Adjunct Professor in the School of Constructed Environments at Parsons School of Design. As a Board Member of Fine Acts and an Arts Advisor to Little Island NYC, Shoham plays a pivotal role in promoting the arts in New York City. Additional contributions include participation on the Steering Committee for the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live, and previous roles with the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and Chief. With a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, Shoham has also worked as a designer and maker, creating a variety of products from furniture to tableware and jewelry.
