Barbara Trainin Blank

Barbara Trainin Blank is an experienced writer and arts reporter with a diverse portfolio in theater and social work. Current roles include press release writer for Leonard Dozier, theater reviewer for BroadwayWorld-DC, and freelance arts reporter for culturespotMC.com and the Montgomery County Sentinel. Additionally, Barbara serves as a freelance previewer/reviewer for the Maryland Theatre Guide and contributes to The New Social Worker Magazine, conducting interviews with student leaders. With a consistent history as a stringer for the Patriot-News and various freelance writing pursuits since 1990, Barbara has also engaged with On-Line Publishing and the U.S. Army War College. Barbara holds a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology from Barnard College and has completed graduate studies in journalism at Temple University.
