Mandi Jin

Mandi Jin is the President and Co-Founder of Bright Youth Journey, where Mandi has successfully recruited 35 youth volunteers across 20 countries to deliver 875 hours of free virtual tech education classes, achieving over 10,000 student signups. Mandi serves as a Data Science Intern at the University of Calgary, gaining skills in data analysis and programming under mentorship. As the Chairman of Calgary's Mayor's Youth Council, Mandi launched initiatives like the Free. Period project and hosted events to address youth needs. Mandi also takes on a leadership role as a Student Advisor/Director for Women in Data Science Worldwide, mentoring high school girls and facilitating projects aimed at increasing women's participation in data science. Mandi's recent experiences include participation in the Jerome Fisher M&T Program, creating a smart sunrise alarm clock, and being recognized as a Shad Fellow. Mandi Jin is currently pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Computer Science at The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania.
