Tim Mohr

Tim Mohr is an accomplished author and literary translator specializing in German literature. Since 2018, Mohr has authored "Burning Down the Haus," a well-received history of East German punk rock, recognized as a book of the year by various prestigious outlets and longlisted for the Carnegie Medal. As a translator for Europa Editions and other publishers, Mohr has translated notable works by authors such as Alina Bronsky, Sibylle Berg, Charlotte Roche, and Wolfgang Herrndorf, contributing to their international success. Collaborations include critically acclaimed projects with artists such as Genesis P-Orridge and musicians like Paul Stanley and Duff McKagan.
