Cristian Gherghi

Cristian Gherghi, ASA, MAAA, is a highly experienced actuary currently serving as Principal Actuary at the NYS Teachers' Retirement System since February 2014, with progressive roles including Associate and Senior Actuary (Life). Cristian's responsibilities encompass preparing data for actuarial valuations, generating reports for financial statements, performing experience studies, and ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards.
