Anna Russell is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in arts and culture reporting. Currently a contributing writer for The New Yorker and an editorial staff member for The Talk of the Town since April 2017, Anna previously worked as a foreign correspondent for The Wall Street Journal from June 2012 to April 2017, focusing on the intersection of art, business, and technology in London’s arts scene. Additional roles include freelance reporting for the WSJ's national arts desk and serving as a summer intern at WSJ Magazine. Anna has also gained experience through various internships, including positions at Süddeutsche Zeitung, New York Daily News, Newsweek, and Conde Nast. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from New York University, earned in 2012.
