Jasper Lo

Jasper Lo is an experienced journalist and writer with a diverse background in media and communication. Currently serving as a Senior Fact Checker at The New Yorker since August 2019, Jasper previously worked at the New York Daily News as a Metro Reporter, where impactful stories made front-page headlines. Jasper's editorial experience includes a tenure at Global Citizen, writing articles aimed at combating global poverty, and a creative role at the Louis Armstrong House Museum, producing works for its archives. Prior to journalism, Jasper held various roles in the US Army, including logistics and project management positions, demonstrating strong operational skills. Jasper holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Queens College.
