Yeonjoo Kim

Art Conservator at The Newark Museum of Art

Yeonjoo Kim is an experienced art conservator currently serving at The Newark Museum of Art since September 2020. Prior to this role, Yeonjoo held positions as a paintings conservator at Rustin Levenson Art Conservation from October 2010 to August 2020, as well as in similar roles at Fine Art Conservation Group and Park Avenue Armory in 2010. Yeonjoo's career began with an internship at Rustin Levenson Art Conservation and an initial internship at the National Archives and Records Administration in 2005. Yeonjoo Kim's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware (2004-2007) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The Catholic University of Korea (1990-1993). Additionally, Yeonjoo worked as a medical technologist at Severance Hospital from 1994 to 2001.
