Meg Murray

Meg Murray has extensive experience in education, currently serving as High School Principal at Newark Public Schools since August 2018, having previously held the position of Vice Principal. Prior to this role, Meg worked at Essex County College as an Adjunct Professor from September 2017 to July 2022 and spent 17 years at Newark Public Schools, where responsibilities included serving as English Department Chairperson and English Teacher. Additionally, Meg worked as an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University from September 2007 to June 2011. Meg holds a Master of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, obtained between June 2004 and June 2006, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, German, and Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in May 2001.
