Anthony Zilis

Anthony Zilis is an accomplished videographer and writer with a diverse background in media. As the owner of Watersong Media since June 2019, Anthony specializes in capturing events like weddings and conferences, focusing on storytelling. Concurrently, Anthony has contributed as a feature writer, photographer, and videographer for The News-Gazette since July 2015, creating insightful documentaries and in-depth articles. Previous roles include beat reporting for Iowa State women's basketball and high school sports for the Ames Tribune, covering the Chicago Fire for MLSsoccer.com, and contributing to various publications. Anthony holds a Bachelor's degree in News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2011.
