Joey Chung

Joey Chung has a long and varied work experience. Joey began their career in 2004 as a Marketing Service Assistant at Agilent Technologies Ltd. In 2005, they became a Weekly Columnist/Reporter at Taipei Times, where they created a weekly youth opinion English column and reported on arts, theatre, and culture in Taiwan. In 2007, they joined UBS as a Client Relationship Assistant, where they maintained client relationships, represented UBS on company visits, and was appointed coordinator of the annual conference. In 2008, they worked as a Business Consultant at Ralph Lauren, where they rotated through five departments and supervised numerous General Manager-level projects. That same year, they also worked as a Consultant at Sanrio, Inc. San Francisco, where they developed new business strategies and positioning, supervised detailed reports and strategies, and handled short-term and long-term company strategies. In 2009, they became a Manager at Sanrio, Inc. Los Angeles/San Francisco. Finally, in 2011, they were appointed President at Sanrio (Shanghai) International Trade Co. Ltd. In 2013, they became the CEO/Co-Founder of The News Lens.

Joey Chung attended Harvard Business School from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master in Business Administration. Joey then attended National Taiwan University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages and Literature (English).
