Jake Lloyd is an experienced communications professional specializing in social media and sports writing. Currently serving as the Director of Social Media at The News Literacy Project since July 2022, Jake has developed expertise in managing digital content and addressing the critical issue of news literacy in the digital age. Previously, Jake held various roles at The News Literacy Project, including Senior Manager and Social Media Manager, and has extensive freelance writing experience with organizations such as the Associated Press and Capitol Broadcasting. In addition to managing digital communications for DC SCORES, Jake co-led the November Project DC fitness movement and hosted the AU Hoops Podcast, showcasing a strong commitment to community engagement and sports journalism. Jake holds a B.A. in American Studies and Journalism from Albion College.
