Mary Kane is currently working as a Senior Editor at The News Literacy Project. Prior to this role, Mary served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Johns Hopkins University teaching Journalism and Publishing in the Digital Age. With extensive experience in journalism, Mary has worked as an Associate Editor at Kiplinger's Retirement Report, as a Financial Writer and Editor, and as a National Correspondent for Newhouse News Service. Mary also received an Alicia Patterson Fellowship and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh.

It also provides people of all ages with tools and resources that enable them to identify credible information and know what to trust, share and act on.
