Natalie Quan is a seasoned professional in development operations and grant management, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Development Operations at The News Literacy Project since October 2018. Previous experience includes positions at BUILD, where Natalie held roles as National Grants Manager and National Grants Associate, effectively managing a significant portfolio of grants and authoring key grant materials. Prior to that, experience includes a Development Intern role at Bay Area Wilderness Training, as well as various legal positions in litigation and patent prosecution. Natalie holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University, a Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from UCLA.

The News Literacy Project empowers educators to teach students the skills they need to be smart, active consumers of news and other information and engaged, informed participants in civic life. It also provides people of all ages with tools and resources that enable them to identify credible information and know what to trust, share and act on.
