Jessica Coen

Jessica Coen currently serves as Editor in Chief at The Recount, overseeing a multi-platform newsroom dedicated to political and policy news with a focus on engaging audiences through social-first formats. Previously, Coen held the position of SVP Content at The News Movement, where responsibilities included leading content development for commercial partnerships in North America. Coen's extensive experience also includes roles such as Chief Content Officer at Morning Brew, Editor in Chief and SVP Content at Mashable, and Editor in Chief at Vocativ, Gawker, and Jezebel. Additional experience includes deputy editorial roles at New York Magazine and Vanity Fair. Coen is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
