Amy Bennett Williams is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Currently serving as a senior writer, watchdog, and storyteller at The News-Press Media Group since 2015, Amy previously held the position of tropicalia editor and senior writer at The News-Press from 1998 to 2014, where contributions included the development and editing of the award-winning “Field Guide to Paradise.” Earlier in the career, Amy was the editor at Gulfshore Life magazine from 1994 to 1998, recognized as the Florida Magazine Association's editor of the year in 1997. Academic credentials include a BA in anthropology and Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with studies at Boston University and Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México.
