Kate Authers

Kate Authers is an experienced copywriter and marketing professional with a diverse background in public relations and brand voice development. Currently serving as a copywriter at The Newt in Somerset since February 2022, Kate has also worked as an independent PR consultant since May 2016, collaborating with various clients in the restaurant and hotel sectors. Significant roles include marketing and public relations consultancy for THE SCALLOP SHELL LIMITED and DOUGH PIZZA LIMITED, and freelance copywriting for Woodhouse and Law Limited. Previous experience includes managing brand voice, copy, and social media for NO.15 GREAT PULTENEY LTD, and a range of PR and marketing consultancy roles across multiple properties within the Kaleidoscope Collection. Kate Authers holds a BA Joint Honours in English and Philosophy from the University of Nottingham, obtained in 2003.
